Brandie's Style Party

Ready to get her kid-friendly party started, Brandie greets guests with her daughter,
Zahria, 4, and son, Zion, 11. Zahria wears a tutu made by her mom and Zion dresses up
with a custom-made bow tie, also made by Brandie. Brandie wears a comfortable printed
shirt-dress that looks great with boots

Brandi peoples knows fashion. As a local fashionista and clothing designer, Brandie was the perfect person for us to ask about upcoming fall and winter fashions for women and kids.Brandie describes her style as a mixure of classic styles, mixed with a little bit of hip-hop, and always with a bit of bling or a pop of color.

Her online business, BeeBopz Kidz, offers custom designs for kids and adults. Her biggest sellers are her custom-made bowties, hair bows and tutus. New items to her line this fall include scarves and party dresses for girls. "I make things that are of good quality that can withstand the wear and tear of a young child wearing them," Peoples said."And of course I want the kids to think it's fun – something special to wear."You can see all the offerings of BeeBopz Kidz at www.beebopzkidz.com. See Brandie's top fashion picks for fall/winter on the next pages, as she gathered some good "little" friends for a rocking party at the Imperial Centre in downtown Rocky Mount. downtown Rocky Mount.

Caption: Jackets, scarves and bows, oh my! Cooler temperatures mean warm coats for boys and girls and we found some fashionable jackets on these girls. This season, look for puffy jackets, dressy peacoats with fur collars, leather jackets with interesting zippers

Want to see more of Brandie's designs? She's hosting a fundraiser fashion and talent show for the community from 6 to 8 p.m. Dec. 12 at the OIC auditorium in Rocky Mount.
